Managing Flickr account

I am having tough time managing my flickr pro account mostly because I have varying requirements from my flickr account.

I want to use flickr as my photo archive. I can't keep my pictures on my hard disk since I may loose them.
I want my mom to access my pictures by just clicking on a link.
I only want a few people to access "my" pictures.
I also want to be part of some flickr group, where I can share my best pictures. But I don't want them to look at all the crappy pictures.

Most of these requirements are contradictory. All I want is various groupings of my pics and some form of fine grained access control. Any ideas?
